About this project
A rectangular masonry enclosure forms the center of this backyard detail. Blue glass fills its recessed top, creating a bright contrast with the gray block faces. Paving runs beside the feature, with lawn and boulders visible farther into the yard. The closer photographs show the block joints, the edge around the glass and the meeting of the feature with the surrounding surface. The wider background adds context without showing a full yard construction sequence. Looking through the photographs
The closer angles put the masonry and glass at the center of the picture. The blue fill contrasts with the muted gray sides, while the rectangular rim gives the feature a clear outline. The surrounding paving continues beside it, with greener and rougher textures farther into the yard. Look at the top edge and block joints to see the visible finish details. The photographs show the outside of the feature and its setting, without exposing internal parts or connections.
