About this project
Open timber walls stand beside an existing brick building in this construction sequence. The exposed studs make the room outlines and openings easy to see before wall coverings are in place. Timber plates run along the tops and bottoms of the framing, with temporary braces and construction materials visible around the work area. The brick exterior provides a clear reference for where the new structure sits against the existing building. Across the views, the photographs concentrate on the frame and its connection to the older wall. They document this stage of construction rather than a finished interior.

Looking through the photographs
With the wall coverings absent, the framing itself becomes the main subject. You can follow individual studs and see through the openings to the surrounding structure. The brick building provides a different texture beside the new timber. Look across the sequence for the wall outlines and the points where separate framed sections meet. These views concentrate on the structure at this stage; no finished room layout or later decorating scheme is shown in the photographs.
