About this project
A fresh concrete surface sits between dark block walls in this raised terrace photograph. The wall in the foreground defines the outer edge, while another wall rises behind the slab. A gray shed with white trim and an X-pattern door stands at the back. Exposed soil remains below the front wall, making the change in level visible. Looking through the photographs
The single photograph makes the level change particularly clear at the front edge. Pale concrete sits above the exposed soil, with dark masonry separating the two. The back wall and shed provide a second boundary behind the surface. Look at the straight top lines of the walls and the contrast between the block faces and slab. This view concentrates on the terrace, its visible edges and the structure behind it, without showing a full layout of the surrounding yard.
