About this project
A fresh concrete slab fills the narrow outdoor area beside the house and a white boundary fence. Its broad surface runs toward the rear fence, with straight edges defining the available space. The building wall forms one side, while planting is visible near the far corner. Another angle shows the slab’s edge and the connection to the house. The photographs concentrate on the shape and finish of the concrete within this enclosed side yard. There are no furnishings or separate structures on the surface, so the relationship between the slab, fence and building remains easy to see.

Looking through the photographs
The enclosed shape of the yard makes the new surface especially easy to read. The fence forms a light backdrop on two sides, while the house provides a taller wall opposite it. In the second view, the slab edge and its meeting with the building become clearer. There are no large furnishings breaking up the concrete, so you can follow the surface toward the rear boundary. These photographs focus on the slab and its immediate surroundings.
