About this project

A new concrete patio runs beside white horizontal siding and dark glazed doors. Timber forms remain along the outer edge, with exposed ground beyond the slab. A small timber step sits at the house-side entry. Across the two views, the surface finish and straight joints are visible, along with the boundary wall around the outdoor area. Sun and shadow make the texture easier to see in different parts of the patio. These photographs document the concrete while edge forms are still in place, showing the surface and its connection to the doors rather than a furnished outdoor room.

Work shown

  • Concrete paving running beside white horizontal siding and dark glazed doors.
  • Visible surface texture and straight joints across the patio.
  • Timber edge forms still in place beside the exposed ground.
  • A small timber entry step connecting the house-side door to the surface.

Looking through the photographs

Light falls across the new concrete differently in the two photographs, helping the surface texture stand out. The dark doors and white wall create a strong backdrop along the house edge. On the other side, forms mark the straight boundary with the bare ground. Look at the joints and the area around the entry step to see how the separate parts meet. The photographs show the patio during this stage of work, before a furnished outdoor setting is added.

We had S&N Construction help us with a concrete patio project at our home in St. George and had a great experience. They were straightforward, professional, and their pricing was very fair for the quality of work we received. They did exactly what we had discussed, and the finished concrete looks great. What stood out most was how easy they were to work with and how much they cared about getting the details right. I would definitely use S&N again for future construction projects and would recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and reasonably priced general contractor in St. George.

We had S&N build an ADU for us in St. George and we're really happy with how it turned out. There were a lot of moving pieces with the project, and they did a good job keeping things moving and answering our questions as they came up. The finished space looks great and feels very well built. Sam and Nick were both easy to work with and stayed on top of things throughout the job. We'd definitely use them again.
